1. This competition is being run by ArtCo Trading Ltd in partnership with Arts Council England and the Contemporary Art Society
2. Entry to the competition is open to UK residents only
3. The competition is not open to employees, agents, contractors or consultants of ArtCo Trading Ltd, Arts Council England, the Contemporary Art Society, or anyone professionally connected with the competition
4. Entrants must complete all parts of the entry form in order to eligible
5. All entries must be submitted by the closing date of 12.00 midnight on Monday 22 December 2008
6. A total of 10 prize winners will be chosen by the Judging Panel from a short list of entries prepared by Arts Council England
7. The winning entries shall be selected from all the entries received in each of the following geographic categories:
I. Entrants living within the Arts Council England East region
II. Entrants living within the Arts Council England East Midlands region
III. Entrants living within the Arts Council England London region
IV. Entrants living within the Arts Council England North East region
V. Entrants living within the Arts Council England North West region
VI. Entrants living within the Arts Council England South East region
VII. Entrants living within the Arts Council England South West Region
VIII. Entrants living within the Arts Council England West Midlands Region
IX. Entrants living within the Arts Council England Yorkshire region
X. Entrants living in parts of the UK other than England
8. Members of the Judging Panel will include representatives from the Contemporary Art Society and Arts Council England.
9. Winners will be selected by Monday 5 January 2009
10. Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the competition closing date
11. ArtCo Trading Ltd is not responsible for incorrect e-mails addresses or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside our control
12. Each prize winner will be presented with a voucher for £500 (five hundred pounds) which can be redeemed against the purchase of works of art from participating Own Art member galleries in England and Scotland
13. Vouchers will be valid for 12 months from 20 January 2009 – 19 January 2010
14. Winners will also be invited to spend a day with a specialist arts advisor on a tour of art galleries in their region. The day’s activities will be tailored to suit the interests of the winner and may include evening events. Travel expenses and lunch and/or an evening meal will be provided.
15. The prize money and vouchers will be supplied by ArtCo Trading Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arts Council England. Registered address: Arts Council England, North East, Central Square, Forth Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3PJ
16. Winners may choose use the prize money for the purchase goods from more than one supplier subject to prior arrangement with ArtCo Trading Ltd

18. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives are available
19. Third party entries into the competition will not be accepted
